Sunset on the Cotton Dock

by Calder Clark on June 20th, 2009

Happy first anniversary to Kady and Ford Adams, whose beautiful Boone Hall Plantation wedding seems like it was only yesterday. The Bishop England high school sweethearts had a lovely mass at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church downtown, followed by high tea for two where the couple presented each other with a painting by a local artist. In the evening, the Adamses arrived by boat at sunset on Wampancheone Creek, where Kady delicately dropped from boatside to dockside in her Carolina Herrera column dress that inspired a whip-stitched grosgrain motif throughout the wedding.
