Weddings Unveiled Blog: featured!

by Calder Clark on July 29th, 2009

Scenario: Litchfield Plantation near Pawleys Island, SC…early October…sun setting over the rice fields…

Ditty in your head: Before you revel in the snippets below, just click on the video to listen to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole, as this was their first dance learned just for them by Deas Guyz out of Hilton Head. We still think of them every time we hear it in our office!

The guests of honor: we know that no one glows like a pair of newlyweds- especially Julia and Graham Carpenter of Atlanta, Georgia. It is a vast understatement that planning their grand affair with Julia and her fabulous mom, Julie was one of the highlights of our year, and it was such a treat to see their reception featured on the Weddings UnVeiled blog! Check it all out below.

Love Us A Monogram

by Calder Clark on July 20th, 2009

We just heard word about Allison R. Banks Designs who (natch) hails from Birmingham, where a few other of our industry favorites are headquartered. We work with a bevy of graphic designers, calligraphers, printers, and artists to achieve an exacting and personal paper suite for each client….it takes a proverbial village.

In contrast to her peers, Allison seems to blend so many talents- calligraphy, graphic design, artistry- it’s enough to unravel the least jealous girl in the world. The prepster hidden (but not so well) deep in our hearts loves the customizable monograms that can be used on everything from save-the-dates to parting gift tags. We can’t wait to show you what she’s created for one of our Fall 2009 brides!
