Style Me Pretty: featured . . . Alice + Jeff!

We’re off to Atlanta Market, but here’s a little gem to savor: the April wedding of our couple Alice and Jeff, held at the historic William Aiken House and shot by local great Tracy Turpen. It is featured today on Style Me Pretty; thanks Abby!

The French blue-and-khaki color scheme was accented by evergreen boxwood elements throughout- a little nod to English garden architecture, which is so apropos for Charleston’s own history. Alice fell in love with a scrap of crewelwork fabric from one of our office mood boards and we ran with it, asking Elaine Mincey to cover her French blue fondant cake in crewelwork, then adding burlap- backed crewelwork pillows to our furniture vignettes. We only wish we had a video of the short shorts the bridesmaids donned to do a little tribute to Alice’s dance hall days- hilarity ensued. Congratulations to a sweet pair!
