Guilty Pleasure

by Calder Clark on September 3rd, 2009

Truth: We may, on occasion, catch an episode of Gossip Girl, the snarky CW series that is rife with drama and perfect for a girls’ night in.

Second truth: We may, on occasion, daydream about Leighton Meester’s (a.k.a Blair Waldorf’s) hair accessories, as they harken back to that polished forties’ look that is so in right now, or perhaps for all time.

Reality: Art imitates life, and life art- and now our brides have access to the most on-trend and yet timeless pieces from Jennifer Behr, whose collections fill the green rooms on the Gossip Girl set and who is now super sought-after by our clients and celebs alike.

Jennifer Behr accessories

“Continuing in her tradition of detailed handwork and construction techniques, Jennifer has created a glamorous collection of headpieces for the season. Inspired by Victorian jet jewelry, with trace elements of elegant punk, autumn/winter 2009 is composed of dark jet crystals, gray pearls, sleek cording, silk satins, robust patents and slinky chains. Bow silhouettes add a touch of youthful lightness. From dark and moody to seriously feminine, autumn/winter 2009 is an accessories collection in full evolution.”

Final note: Jennifer and her team are super-flexible on rush and custom jobs, so don’t be shy!
