Shoes (and diamonds) are a Bride’s Best Friend
Lately, we’ve been debating the merits of strappy slingback vs. d’Orsay vs. hidden platform pump and considering how far our girls can push the envelope with their big day kicks. We might suggest shying away from a white ankle boot (eek!) although we’re quite sure it’s out there. However, weddings have changed dramatically in the past century, as has wedding style…so why not have a little fun? Unlike most bridesmaids’ dresses, wedding shoes can usually be dyed black and have the heel tap changed to match and voila: a fabulous pair of dressy shoes to wear out on the town or to a wedding as a guest- imagine that.
Below are just a few of our latest favorites (many inspired by our savvy 2009 brides’ own buys) and where to snag:

Of course, don’t forget your “Sole Mates” if you’re in or attending an outdoor garden ceremony and reception … brilliant.

If your priorities do not include soles stamped with “Made in Italy”, consider inexpensive shoes sassed up with custom shoe clips from B. Poetic on Etsy:
