I love nothing more than trolling through antique malls for hidden treasure, including old wooden forms of all kinds. There are so many clever ways to incorporate these into your event and home design; they’re like a shot of texture, juxtaposition, and history in otherwise ho-hum areas.
I’ve seen these used as little hallway hooks for necklaces, belts, bags, coats- you name it. These French children’s shoe forms are particularly darling. I’d love to find a few pairs to use in my child’s room, perhaps above the door.
