Husk is Here

by Calder Clark on October 27th, 2010

The whole town is a-buzz about Husk, Chef Sean Brock’s latest culinary adventure. I for one can’t WAIT to venture down to Queen Street and pull up a chair, so to speak.

In case you missed the memo, Brock is a big hairy deal. His awards and accolades (among them, the prestigious James Beard) have amassed at the same pace as his heirloom tomatoes, sunchokes, and pole beans . . . that is to say, at lightning speed. He’s most known for foodie haven McCrady’s, where we produced a gorgeous Thanksgiving wedding weekend affair in 2008. It’s about time that he branched out, and we can’t wait to sample the fare.

For more scoop, read this article on Husk from Charleston Magazine and this article on Husk from the Post + Courier.
