The Boys of A Bryan Photo

It’s no small secret that we adore working with A Bryan Photo, if only because we are at that point in our relationship where they’ve seen us in bathrobes, glasses, and sans makeup. Also, we’ve been known to share an old, cold partially-eaten hamburger, which just says family.

So it goes without saying (but I’m not known for concision) that I’m thrilled to be speaking at one of their workshops this week in Birmingham. I plan on thoroughly exposing them for all their flaws (the occasional clove cigarette, poser skateboarding hobby) and on highlighting their skills (fine art-level camera mastery, for one). Can’t. Wait.

In preparation for my little trip,  I thought I’d post a few of my favorite black-and-whites shot by ABP. These images live on in our in-office collection and probably in the albums of my clients, but deserve far more exposure than that. These come close to summing up the je ne sais quois of their work.
