Toasty Tips
We love designing wintry weddings- few and far between here in subtropical Chucktown, USA. Below, a few fun tips for helping guests stay toasty during the next few months’ worth of parties.

I sourced these old Postie’s crates at one of my favorite haunts- the Old Hampton Grist Mill in Linville, NC. Filled the holes with goldenrod-colored crinklecut, and sunk little mason jars of hot toddies (aka Hot Cape Coddies!) in each. Tied the mouths with canaloupe grosgrain, stuffed in a few custom calligraphy masslinn napkins and a calligraphy sign, and folks flocked.

Nothing like a cozy pom-pom throw from Karma Living to warm up the ill-dressed guest. Guests were encouraged to take these home, natch!

We spray-painted tall baskets the perfect shade of ashy taupe, to match the reception palette. We filled them partially with crinklecut just to elevate the wraps, then stuffed each basket with plush cashmere wraps and pashminas (color-coordinated, of course!) for each guest to snag.

We had a ton of fun with this parting basket. I filled a custom Timbuk2 bag (innnn theirrrr colorrrs, are you catching on yet?) with fuzzy Ugg-like his and hers moccs, cds for their honeymoon suite, a Votivo candle, parting snacks, beautiful matches, wraps, and more. Nothing better than being handled with kid gloves all the way to your honeymoon suite and beyond!
