RTR for your RD

by Calder Clark on April 14th, 2011

If you haven’t already tucked into Rent the Runway, ye should. I think it’s an awesome source for rehearsal dinner ensembles, instead of breaking the bank on a dress you feel like you’ll only really rock once. For about 90% off retail prices, you can ship in a dress, flaunt it, then ship it back (for free!) and they dry clean it and your wallet survives.

Here are a few of our top pics for your upcoming Friday night pre-wedding soirées:

Herve Leger’s Sedona Sunrise Dress . . . love the coral and grey! Would do a nude patent Louboutin, not that shoe.

Robert Rodriguez Black Label Pintucked Away Dress . . . a delicious alternative to the bride-in-a-bag-stark-white selection some gals make for the eve of their wedding.

Milly’s Milk Like Honey Sequined Mini . . .

Tracy Reese’s Zigzag Applique Sheath . . . so fresh in that peacock blue, dying over that shoe too.

If you must do the white thang, at least this one by Yigal Azrouel (the Blairified Body Fitting Sheath) has a harder edge with the leather! Ix-nay on the opaque tights and do a bare leg with a strappy number.
