New Adventures

by Calder Clark on September 15th, 2011

Next year is a wild one for CCD, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’ll be all over the country with gorgeous weddings to pull off, and we can’t wait for the road trips (read : hilarity) to ensue. Prereq: Nerd on a Rope and a cooler of DC. As much as we love Chucktown, we also love to travel and do something fresh and novel.

One special place we’ll be putting on a grand affair is the Old Edwards Inn and Spa. Y’all know I’m much more of a mountain girl than a beach bum. I already live to spend weekends at my family’s house at Grandfather Mountain in Linville, so it’s totally fun that we’ll trek up to Highlands, NC for Kalen + Parks.

Here are a few pics from a lovely recent wedding at OEI+S shot by Chris at 6 of Four Photography. Exciting, no? They just built that glassed-in Pavilion off an antique barn- love me a rafter and some 30′ ceilings. Reminds me of one of our favorite travel weddings to date- Blackberry Farm for Jenni and Kevin. Enjoy!
