Apron Chic

by Calder Clark on January 6th, 2012

Little-known fact: all of us at CCD wear aprons. A lot. Particularly during setup for events because aprons have so many great pockets for iPhones, to-do lists, corsage pins- the stuff of life. We have our “day aprons” and our “night aprons” and I’m totally the girl who runs out to Lowe’s, Publix, Pit Stop, anywhere in mine and then gets stopped and asked about stock/supply at said store. It never fails.

And since CCD designs and selects server attire for every event we produce, we’re always on the hunt for interesting designs.

Right now, we love the old-school style canvas designs with brass hardware from Birdkage and Stanley & Sons in New York and French-ie bistro aprons via Libeco Linens—all pictured below.

All three are great-looking and just get better with age and use. Die over the nailhead detail?!

Slap a logo or a monogram on these bad boys or not, they’re fab either way!
