Tartan-tastic

by Calder Clark on October 30th, 2012

In case you hadn’t guessed, I’m a Scot through and through. Calder is derived from Cawdor, replete with a castle in Scotland, an Earl, and a whole lot of Cawdors running around over there. My family has always had the Campbell of Cawdor tartan present; I definitely rocked our clan kilt as a grade school girl and loved carving my name into my desk with my tartan pin. (Naughty!) Most fondly, I loved growing up going to the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games every summer.

Thus, it’s no surprise that I’m having a thank-God-it’s-Fall-let’s-break-out-the-tartan moment. You?
