Ina’s Wintery Hues

by Calder Clark on December 12th, 2012

Totally inspired by this little piece from Hamptons Cottages + Gardens, courtesy of Ina Garten- whose grounded simplicity is totally welcome this time of year. Truth: I hate purple second only to burgundy, but for some reason, I adore this palette, especially what Anastasia Casale used down the table. Delightful!

Registry Rage

by Calder Clark on December 6th, 2012

Talk about a double entendre. I have registry rage (beats road rage!) over Caitlin’s recent Vieuxtemps extravaganza. My weensy contribution was to stumble upon Anna Weatherley’s latest goodness – these plates are all the rage, don’t you know? Must.have.theseafoamones.

Lapkin Love

by Calder Clark on November 5th, 2012

It’s super hard to find cute napkins, at least in the quantities we need for our fantabulous brides. Thus, we hoard our sources and scour fabric vendors’ inventory like vultures on the hunt for the perfect spotted number, ikat-ish stripe, and youthful damask. Buuut, I couldn’t resist sharing this great find from Tortoise General Store, found via House Beautiful June 2012. Lapkins are even more obtuse- or should I say- nearly extinct?

These sapsuckers are 1′x3′ . . . generous indeed. Perfect for an oyster roast or spiffy sit-down.
