My Best Friend’s Wedding: Part I
For the next three posts, I’d like to revisit my best friend Becky’s wedding. The details were so thoughtful and so Becky and I just happened to be flipping through her photos the other day and remembered a few extra special things I can’t help but share.
First things first: Becky’s stationery suite and her gorgeous fans by Cheree Berry (below).
In short, we think Cheree hung the moon. Everything she does is lighthearted and effortless—so it’s no surprise that her background was with the preppy, artsy, modern-meets-vivaciously-vintage brand that is Kate Spade. Love us a trellis-inspired anything, that’s for sure. Bravo (yet again) Cheree!

Paperie Inspired
I’m blown away by my new stationery. I already have a gold-and-gray obsession, and the marbled liner and European deckled edge put it positively over the top. It makes me feel all growns up, like, WHO is deserving of such a note? (insert arched eyebrow).
And, as always with fine papers, it inspired some fresh thoughts for one of our 2012 gals. Smoky silk linens ranging from gold to dove gray to blush shantung, brass napkin rings, nailhead lanterns, delicious bias-cut flaxen napkins. Oo la la!

Good Fortunes
Leave it to the lively folks at the Bouligny Bakery & Social Club in New Orleans to create the jaw-droppingly beautiful sweet treats below.
Dying over the Florentine print . . .

The pieces (referred to as Petit Fortunes) are wrapped in delicate, hand painted papers. Too pretty to eat, I say!
And, ahem, lightbulb! They would be divine in lieu of ho-hum place cards at a reception, in welcome bags, affixed to place cards, or as parting favors. Totally gonna do it- just watch us!
