Nothing says Fall like sharpened pencils, a brand new bookbag, the perfect Honeycrisp apple. Allllso- ginger and pears. I used to think ginger snaps were so 1972- kinda your great granddad’s cookie. But lately I’ve had this pregnancy-like (no, I’m not) craving for anything super sharp and ginger-y, plus pears . . . Bosc, Bartlett, I’m not choosy. We’ve deployed some pretty glamorous dessert courses for our Fall brides, too- like mini mascarpone-filled poached pears with a port wine fig reduction, among others.
