I love the tonality in subtle floral design. I frequently ask our floral designer to select flowers in 3-4 different tones just a few gradations off a classic color (green, pink, peach, yellow) and work from that angle so that everything looks hand-dipped and a little faded. These tulips totally fit the bill for an orchid-to-cream range.
I’m also totally weird about “showing stem” . . . I only want to see abundant stalky green-ness, not a few spindly guys shooting down into the containers (like when you take 3 hydrangea heads and drop them in a glass piece!) The tulips on the right totally rock little green bindings and neaten up their appearance “en vase”.
