CALDER CLARK
Principal & Creative Director

____________

Calder has more than 20 years of experience in the wedding & event planning industry. While her eye for detail, incomparable creativity, and mind for logistics has earned her a spot among the top planners in the industry, it’s her friendships with her couples that she holds most dear.

Calder lives in Charleston with her husband, Chaunce—and her proudest accomplishments are her two babies, Campbell and Walton.

When she’s not developing design details for her couples, you can find her reading a book a week, on the tennis court, or sipping a made-at-home Ranch Water during cocktail hour.

CAITLIN WHITESIDE
Director of Operations

____________

Following a college career at Rhodes with several years in interior design, the North Carolina native and consummate Southerner joined CC in 2008.

Caitlin’s background in spatial reasoning plus an incredible knack for the heavy lift of logistics make her a natural fit for a business driven by attention to detail. Her days are filled with whipping creative teams into shape—crossing every T and dotting every I.

You can most often find her in the bleachers at Little League games, side-seat with Calder en route to wedding locales across the globe, binge-watching the latest Netflix murder mystery, or crafting a seriously spicy margarita. Caitlin lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with her husband Chris and her two precious littles, Warner and Beau.

MARY AGNES DUNCAN
Production Associate

____________

Following an internship with the Calder Clark team in 2016, Mary Agnes graduated from Clemson University and dove headlong into the events industry. After growing steadily on the wedding team at The Grove Park Inn, Mary Agnes jumped at the chance to join the CC full time in early 2022. “MA” (also “Magnes”!) is nestled neatly between both design and logistics, where she touches a bit of everything behind the scenes from logistics to aesthetics. As production associate, she supports Calder and Caitlin in the heavy lift of ground-up buildouts, and works closely with each client to keep details on point. In her down time, you’ll find MA at a Clemson football tailgate ormoseying around the nearest local bookstore, oat milk latte in hand. Mary Agnes lives in Charleston.

Our Clients Say the Nicest Things!

“I’m creative, but it’s more like I just have an eye for what I like.

I’m not necessarily good at creating it on my own, which frankly was why Calder was such a good match.

I’m decisive, I can give you ideas. I can tell you what I like, what I don’t— but then bringing those ideas to fruition? Not my strongest suit.

I can’t imagine having someone that wasn’t Calder’s caliber— I literally wouldn’t have been able to do my job during the day had it not been for them.

She got to know Bryan and me, and she took what I wanted (a beautiful, creative wedding different from all the rest) and knocked it out of the park.

We just wish it had lasted so much longer!”
